Lesotho
The flag of Lesotho was officially adopted on October 4, 2006, marking its latest evolution since the nation's independence. Designed with distinctive blue, white, and green horizontal stripes, it proudly features a black mokorotlo (traditional Basotho hat) at its center. This symbol replaced the previous design from 1987, which had showcased a military emblem. Since 1966, when Lesotho gained independence from British rule on October 4, the national flag has undergone four major revisions.
